Roles and Responsibilities Specific to the Events Committee

  • Identify themes and target dates for member events
  • Identify sponsors or event hosts
  • Coordinate event activities
  • Work in conjunction with the Treasurer to create an annual events budget
  • Work with the Grants Committee to coordinate location, date, time, host/sponsor, and details for annual grant award event if applicable
  • When establishing event budgets, those budgets should be submitted to the Leadership Team 75 days in advance of the projected event date. The Leadership Team will review and must approve all event budgets, event locations, and event themes
